Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can anyone join the run?
A: You bet. We're friendly people. We love everybody.
Q: Why in god's name would you make a habit of running?
A: While the experience of actively running is pretty awful, stopping feels great.
Q: How fast do you all run?
A: It varies a little bit depending on how my old-man knees are feeing, but we usually run pretty brisk miles -- somewhere between 6 and 6.5 minute miles. The goal for the summer is to get down to 5.5 minute miles. This will probably not happen.
Q: How far do you all run?
A: This too is subject to my old-man knees, but usually about 4 miles. We run down 14th Street and up 16th Street, so there are some hills involved.
Q: Where do we meet?
A: At Columbia Height's running capital, 1537 Monroe St., NW, Washington, DC 20010.
